Amani believes in the power of telling your story in order to heal, and she continues to experience this first-hand as she tells her. Through writing, Amani connects with others who share similar stories and hopes to reduce the stigma around topics that she believe should hold no stigma at all.
She spends her time exploring and nesting in pockets of nature, cooking good food, photographing moments, drawing cartoons, napping, laughing, surfing, listening to a bizarre selection of music, herbalism, and swimming in any pot of outdoor water she can find.
