Journalist, published author and DC native by way of New York Malik Obee comes on to discuss his book "Bounce Beat Baby," which entails the illustrious history of Go-Go music and it's influence in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. He educuates with his perspective living through the Go-Go era an important leaders like Wale. He then details his love affair with HBCU culture, being an alum of Morgan State and his coverage of HBCU football players like Amir Hall and why black quarterbacks get typecasted in the scouting process. Obee goes in on the negative scouting and neglect that HBCU football players get going up to the NFL Draft.
