For the 3rd time in recent episodes The Scottish Independence Podcast is going back to the parliament, this time to talk to John Finnie MSP.

John is an Independent MSP for the Highlands and Islands region and one of the topics of our discussion was why he made the decision to become an independent rather than stay with the SNP.

We also talked about the disgraceful immigration policies of the UK government and how, whilst Scotland has already sought to curb some of the worst excesses of those policies, it could do so much better.

Then we got on to what might be some good foreign policy options for an Independent Scotland.
