When my unit reassembled.. and returned to BRagg... all the awards went by rank.. if you were lower enlisted.. AAM, if you were NCO ARCOM, if you were brass Bronze star... it was a laughable event...

That's when the 40 on 8 off schedule started... but it was so smooth... keep the rig running... and no one bothered us.. 98% UPTIME for our crew... couldn't have asked for better experience whilst the fighters did their deal once the ground war started..

My RIgg ws attached to 18th ABN CORPS HQ.. the place was madness... comms vehicles everywhere... Comm Officer asked us how far away we could park our rig, I said, if you can muster up 2 miles of WD1, that's how far we can be... hour later? we had the 2 miles... 😄
