John Glass. A name every Celtic fan should get familiar with. In the late 1800s, when Brother Walfrid was looking to create a football club to help support the needy in Glasgow, he called upon such men as John Glass to help his vision become a reality.

A tenacious and charismatic man, Glass was at the forefront of Celtic Football Club becoming a reality and oversaw massive changes in the club; from the first major trophies, to securing the land for the stadium, to signing celebrated players and much more.

His story is one we have tried to discuss on History Bhoys Abroad #32. We hope we have done him justice.
