As of the beginning of the show, the NFL league year has officially begun. Ian is joined by our own Seahawks reporter Curtis Crabtree, and former Coug, former Hawk, Michael Bumpus. The biggest news right off the top, Earl Thomas will be joining the Ravens. We knew his days in Seattle were probably over, but now there's no question. So far the Hawks haven't grabbed anyone other than kicker Jason Myers. Don't expect to hear much from them in terms of snagging free agents early on. This is what they do. They aren't fans of spending big money on free agents, especially with a group of core guys who still need to get paid. So who is going to replace Earl? Well, he only played 24 percent of snaps last year anyway. Tedric Thompson did okay last season, and we'll probably see more of him this year. On Something Good, a thief in China robs a woman at a bank before seeing her bank balance, realizing she was broke, and returning the cash, plus a man giving $1,000 to a Girl Scout troop, and unlike the last time we tried a story like this on Something Good, this time the guy wasn't wanted for selling drugs.
