  • S1E8 Post Middlesbrough

16 SEP 2016 · In this week’s podcast Alfonso Greenbrook looks over the game against Middlesbrough, which saw Palace gain their first three points of the new campaign. Defensive grit, attacking know-how, a clinical Christian Benteke header and an impeccable goalscoring Wilfried Zaha performance secured Palace's first away Premier League win of 2016. Although Palace took the lead twice, the Eagles faced significant pressure throughout the game and the Middlesbrough fans may feel slightly aggrieved they didn't create and score more -- but Palace's resilience *SHONE* through in their 2-1 win. Is there more to come from Benteke? Is THIS Zaha's year? All this and more in this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast. • S1E7 Post Bournemouth

6 SEP 2016 · In this week’s podcast Alfonso Greenbrook looks over the game against AFC Bournmouth, which saw Palace gain their first point of the new season. A game of two halves saw a well-organised and clinical Bournemouth take a deserved first-half lead. But Palace toyed with a 4-4-2 lineup that just didn't work. Then Palace made the second period their own and with a modified 4-3-3 approach, dominated, but struggled to make their chances count until Scott Dann scored the equaliser with a *WONDERFUL* late header. Is Benteke worth the money? Will Dann be top scorer again? All this and more in this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast.

30 AUG 2016 · In this week’s podcast Alfonso Greenbrook looks over Palace's first win of the season, which saw Christian Benteke made his Palace debut as an own goal (Well, Scott Dann) and a Connor Wickham strike helped the Eagles into round three of the EFL Cup. Benteke looked sharp on his first outing and came close on a few occasions, but it was a Scott Dann *BLAST* that hit Robertson that broke the deadlock on 25 minutes, before Wickham netted 90 seconds after replacing Benteke. Is Benteke worth the money? DANN, TOP SCORER AGAIN?! All this and more on this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast.

  • S1E5 Post Tottenham

23 AUG 2016 · In this week’s podcast Alfonso Greenbrook looks over Palace's first away game of the season, which was a painfull loss to Tottenham. In a game which saw both sides have great opportunities, Tottenham edged Palace after Victor Wanyama’s header eight minutes from time. This was enough for Spurs to condemn the Eagles to defeat at White Hart Lane. A game which saw better passing and crossing from the team insured a tight game, where a draw would have been a fair result. But once again Lee Chung-yong, Cabaye, Dann and Hennessey shone -- but this wasn't enough! BENTEKE SIGNED (Finally) ! All this and more on this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast.
