On Saturday, November 2nd 2013 at 11.30am, The Celtic Graves Society held a ceremony to unveil a Celtic Cross in memory of the Founding Fathers of Celtic Football Club at St Peter's Cemetery, Dalbeth. Despite the very poor weather, a large turnout gathered.
Guest speakers at the event included:
- Ian Bankier, Celtic Chairman;
- Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of Celtic Foundation;
- Tom Boyd, ex Celtic captain;
- Terry Dick, CGS historian.
The blessing was conducted by the Archbishop of Glasgow, Philip Tartaglia.
