21 MAR 2018 · For our 6th episode we sit down with Miha Matlievski, the owner of an energy startup which is now worth 7.5 million dollars. Prior to this amazing success, Miha dropped out of high school, worked with his dad in the energy space, having to suddenly take over once his dad passed away when Miha was just 24 years old. This episode is a lesson in learning about failure and how it can affect your mindset. I was incredibly inspired by Miha’s story and I hope you are as well.

16 MAR 2018 · For our fifth episode we sit down with James Morrow, Owner of Urban Kayaks, which provides kayak rentals and historical city tours on the Chicago river via Kayak. My wife and I did this tour a few times and I can attest that it’s pretty awesome. James’s story is really interesting as we learn a bit about how his business came to be, and some of the issues surrounding running a business on the Chicago river. So let’s welcome James Morro!

22 AUG 2017 · For our third episode we sit down with Jerry Chen, a Chinese speaking American who deals wine in China. Jerry lives in San Francisco but exports wine to retailers in China. We had an interesting conversation about the wine industry, China and being an American with clients abroad. This was my favorite interview so far, as I love wine, Jerry is hilarious and I learned a lot. Check it out!

We follow this theme leading into episode 2 of this podcast, where we interview wonderful entrepreneurs from around the world, weekly, on the worst deals they’ve ever been apart of. For our second episode we sit down with John Monarch, CEO and Founder of Direct Outbound Services. Direct Outbound is a logistics and fulfillment company, as well as inbound customer service provider focused on e-commerce, government, medical, and more. In this episode we changed the pace a bit, with an emphasis on not only covering John’s story, but also gaining an informative background on logistics, fulfillment, and how to avoid some of the mistakes that plagued John’s failed venture.
