2 OCT 2023 · Utah goes to Corvallis on a short week ranked in the top 10 for the first time since the beginning of last season. Hanging over this game as it had the first 4 games of the year was the status of starting quarterback Cam Rising. They took it almost all the way up to kickoff before they made a decision, but ultimately Risng would miss his 5th straight game. The redshirt freshman Nate Johnson made his 3rd consecutive start in Rising's place. The last time the Utes made the trip to Reser Stadium was back in October 2021 when they gave up a 2 touchdown lead and fell to the Beavers. Would they come out on top this time?
