2 FEB 2024 · Hughie was diagnosed aged 10 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2020. Hughie, started fundraising for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and best friend Freddie joined in when Hughie was too ill. They won our 'Fundraiser of the Year' award in 2021 after being surprised with it from Ant and Dec. They are now running 1km around 100 football grounds fundraising for every oncology ward in the UK.

21 SEP 2023 · After enduring the most heartbreaking loss imaginable, Andy Airey, Mike Palmer, and Tim Owen, forged a close bond when they met through the suicide prevention charity, Papyrus The trio came up with the idea of a sponsored walk between their homes in Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Norfolk to raise funds for Papyrus, and awareness of suicide in young people. It's been nearly a year since they won their Pride of Britain Award for 'Special Recognition' and we want to hear what they've been up to a year later.
