11 APR 2024 · Bio of Jeremy "Jeramiah"Young Born in Princeton, N.J. Jeremy always had a passion for entertaining and being in a kitchen. It started back when I was 6 years old following my Grandmother in her kitchen learning how to make homemade ravioli and piroghis from scratch, also watching Yan Kan Cook on television. As Jeremy grew older he would cook for family and friends in Highschool, as well as helping run a Burger King in Trenton at 16. After Highghscool he got mixed up with wrong crowds and ended up in a rehab for alcoholism from depression. Around 1994/95 Jeremy cleaned himself out and got a Garmage gig at a company called Harrison which was on Merill Lynch properties in Princeton, NJ where he cooked for banquets and even a president! During his four year stint there, Jeremy fell into Stand Up Comedy, and Acting in the tri state area (PA., N.J., NY), in which he got breaks in Gotham Comedy Club and The Comic Strip, also appeared in talk shows, MTV, Fox, NBC, and the Travel Channel in various news segments and shows. (Say What Kareoke, MTV Beach House, Hells Kitchen Auditions News Segment, Last Comic Standing News Segment SF, Mystery Diners) Currently, Jeremy is residing in Las Vegas for the past 10 years doing comedy/acting, music with IDSFA and involved with radio for WOLD 95.1 out of Princeton, NJ.
