The Basement Tapes with Nick and Bootsy debuted on K-KID 92.9fm (Salem/Rolla, Missouri) on July 11th, 2010. Since our debut, we have developed a strong, world wide fan base. We created the show to feature local, unsigned bands and musicians from the South Central Missouri area but quickly broadened our band-base when we began receiving submissions from all over the world. We decided that every band has to be local at some point, and that’s when we developed our tagline:
Supporting local, independent bands from EVERYWHERE, because EVERYBODY is local to SOMEWHERE!
