A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a chronic and possibly fatal illness. I was told that there was no cure for me. I became depressed, and obsessed with sickness and dying. Every ache or pain was magnified because of my obsession. I stopped doing things that I enjoyed even though I was still physically able. At some point, I began to realize that this sickness could last for years, and I had a choice as to how I would live with it. I could crawl into a fetal position, and put my thumb in my mouth and feel sorry for myself, or I could decide to LIVE! Until I Die!. I decided to LIVE! Not only LIVE!, but thrive. It is my desire to provide a forum for encouragement, support, and motivation to LIVE! regardless of a diagnosis. Depression, Anxiety, Diabetes, Hypertension, Lupus, Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and many other mental and physical illnesses are prevalent in today's society. They are not going away. It is my hope that other's will say to themselves that I Will LIVE! Until I Die.
