Impact Wrestling Slammiversary 2022 is held exactly 20 years to the date of Impact's very first event. We run through the highlights and refect on the legacy of IMPACT Wrestling and TNA.

IMPACT Media Digital Championship Match: Rich Swann (c) vs. Brian Myers (pre-show)-missed this. Rich Swann retained.

Reverse Battle Royale (pre-show)-Amused by the concept since I never saw this before.
Pre-show match they set Maclin and Bey in an eventual feud it looks like. Sharkboy wins in a match that lingers in the bad part of TNA. Commentators made that point pretty clear.

1-IMPACT X-Divison Championship Match: Ultimate X Match: Ace Austin (c) vs. Kenny King vs. Mike Bailey vs. Trey Miguel vs. Andrew Everett vs. Alex Zayne-Ultimate X a great way to start. One of the best matches they put on. Great to see Speedball take the belt while Austin moves on with the Bullet Club. Miguel was a standout and should stay near the X division title or step him up to an eventual World Title contender.

2-IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match: The Influence (c) vs. Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie. One set of back body drops and it looks like Madison Rayne took the most of getting her head hitting Tenille's head. They finished the match and its great to see Taya back into the mix. New champs in back to back.

3-Monster’s Ball Match: Sami Callihan vs. Moose-Brutal. How did Moose take some of these moves. Sami take these matches and puts them on another level. Sami is very much like Jon Moxley in AEW. Can we get that match someday? The Callahan feuds going back to his feud with Eddie Edwards and Tessa Blanchard. Moose took one shot through the timekeepers table, on a stood up trash can, barb wired boards and three cactus driver 97s. Sami gets the revenge.

4-IMPACT Tag Team Championship Match: The Briscoes (c) vs. The Good Brothers-The Brothers attack at Sandy Fork was the redeeming part of this feud. Good Brothers take the titles back neutralizing Mark in a very good match. Post match angle as America's Most Wanted return. Beer Toast with the 6 in the ring.

5-IMPACT Originals (Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Frankie Kazarian, Nick Aldis, and Davey Richards) vs. Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, PCO, and Vincent)-Dixie Carter sighting. She doesnt age. Davey Richards is the 5th man. American Wolves and ROH history here. Traci Brooks sighting. Fun match with Impact winning.

AJ Styles sends a message. WWE doing a solid to let AJ honor Impact.

6-IMPACT Knockouts Championship Match: Queen of the Mountain Match: Mickie James acting as special guest enforcer: Tasha Steelz (c) vs. Chelsea Green vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Mia Yim- Great match. This was a match I was looking forward to watching. Steelz took a lot of punishment. All women end up eligible. Purrazo and Green off a ladder through a table to the floor. Grace is again Knockouts champion in a smart finish in a systematic takeout of opponents one by one to win the title. This is a testament of the Knockouts division, one of the shining segments of Impact Wrestling.

7-IMPACT World Championship Match: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Eric Young-Tribute moves to near falls. BME, Styles Clash, Ankle Lock, Olympic slam to Joe Doering. Guitar shot to Alexander. A You Gotta Be Kidding Me. Samoa Joe Uranage. Alexander wins.
