BUT…there’s always that BUT. King Saul found that out the hard way… then there is 1 Corinthians 10:20-21, you can’t have it both ways. Either God’s way, or the world’s way which is the way of the Devil. And then there is the matter of the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which God says He HATES. Gee Wally, if God hates something, then why are we having anything to do with it? Check out the scene in “ How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, paying particularly close attention to the party scene viewed thru the window…it’s during the scene where the little girl is interviewing the two old ladies who raised the Grinch. Nicolaitans celebrated Christmas back then, only it wasn’t called Christmas then. Revelation 2:6,15. And last but not least, Are you celebrating Christ’s birth, which he said not to do, or his death? Because the term Merry Christmas literally means Happy Death of Christ. Again, you can’t have it both ways…so which is it?? Sounds like confusion! Who is the author of confusion? 1 Corinthians 14:33, where it clearly states God is not the author of confusion. Again, you can’t have it both ways. Either you are in God’s camp, or you are in the Devil’s camp. You can wish people a happy holiday, but one should never say, Merry Christmas. Christ never was in Christmas, and neither should we be!
