In this recording, Bentinho explores the connections between anger, safety, vulnerability, and the emotional guidance system. Anger serves as a protective mechanism in response to perceived threats or loss of safety. However, you can retrain your mind to adopt behaviors that are beneficial to yourself and others, such as recognizing and pausing before reacting to anger, observing interactions objectively, and creating distance from negative impulses by slowing down your thoughts and becoming aware of every nanosecond.

In this way, you can become present to the micro choices you’re making in each moment, as well as the judgements you're placing on any given situation. By becoming aware of these micro, second-to-second choices, you elevate your freedom and the desire to choose that which is most beneficial. This greatly increases the probability that you will choose an empowered trajectory full of healing and learning.

Bentinho also explains the function of the “gremlin” (or “ego," as most people relate to the term). The gremlin is a mechanism that perpetuates limiting beliefs, thus preventing you from experiencing and embodying the qualities of truth—such as unity, awareness of God, connection to all aspects of life, and innate freedom and joy. These beliefs, fueled by fear and shame, can be difficult to let go of, due to their deeply ingrained nature and the psychological reinforcement each negative belief perpetuates.

By prioritizing the recognition of such moments, and by being willing to slow down and investigate limiting beliefs, you may effectively challenge and overcome them.

May you prioritize the willingness to learn and to direct your focus towards your soul/true essence. May you prioritize authenticity, and embrace a light-hearted and playful approach towards life. May you become free from restraining beliefs, and in so doing, benefit yourself and the whole of humanity.
