Tu m'as envoyé une linkage sur le subjet d'alzheimers. Est-ce que c'est que t'afflige, ce que tu abbats ? Maintenant je comprends plus, je te remercie. J'ai commencé lire ce que tu m'as envoyé sur ce subjet dans ton "link". La dedans j'ai remarqué quelque chose qui a "captured my attention". It disait la dedans que tension, tension sexualle en particulaire, souvent fait qu'on dit ce qu'on pense, sans "filter", qui peut emmener a "inappropriate speech". Ton link aussi disait que cette sorte de tension peut etre "diverted" par l'exercise physiquelle. Moi, pour quarante-huit ans, je pratique les arts martiale internal d'origine chinoise. Taiji, Bagua, Xingyi. Aussi les arts de Tiger Crane, Praying Mantis, White Crane. J'ai apprise premier le version de Taiji Boxe Martial qui est presque inconnu au public mais j'aussi practique le version lente, plus connu au publique. Je trouve en practiquant le version lente que ca "calms" l'avis, "calms" les pensées et aussi met plus en bas touts tensions. Moving mediation, meditation with the body rather than the mind. Je puis te directer a l'information s'il te plait. Ici, je change a l'anglais. I find that Taiji removes tension, in particular the tension in the mind, stress - the "monkey mind", the mind jumping from tree to tree just because it can, without any control. By moving the body in calm directed ways, Taiji, the slow version, calms the mind. Body and mind/soul mutually influence each other. As the body learns and improves little by little, one also little by little gains control over the mind and thoughts. Not to perfection but it sure does help one who is always in their head, that runaway train of thoughts, that accursed "monkey mind". The attention to detail while practicing, the focus on physical movements and breathing, really does also help calm the mind/thoughts. By the way prayer also helps but as long as we're in bodies we have to as Paul said "beat it into submission". Je retourne ici a francais. Si je puis aider "don't hesitate" a demander. Je suis sure qu'il y a des practionners de Taiji pres de toi. Accepte ce qui j'ai dit comme un francophone qui veut aider un autre. BTW: En L'Armee j'ai passer quatre mois, en class d'artillerie, avec un fellow soldat d'origin Quebcois. Son pere etait Quebcois, sa mere Americane. Bons temps c'etait. J'ai trouve que les Quebecois a retenu cette joie-de-vivre de leur heritage francaise.

Michael : I ran my last post thru GoogleTranslate just to see if it would butcher it on the chance that someone might want to see what I was saying. Whoever programmed that translator's French section might want to learn the language first. It translated "Et puis: a l'avenir tu-toyer pas vous-voyer, ca va ? " as "And then: in the future you will not see you, how are you?". Quel traduction atrocité !! . On the out chance any non-french speakers are seeing this - the correct translation is "And then: in the future we can use informal address and not formal addess, okay ?".

J'ai oublie a adjuter : Je ne suis un de ces "holier-than-thou" types. Comme les plupart des hommes - J'engage aussi en "locker room speech". Pas trop et pas si terrible.
