THE U.S. GOVERNMENT is facing a disaster of Biblical proportions if it doesn’t raise the debt ceiling by June 1! At least, that’s how the media spins it.
The fact is the government’s debt level is unsustainable, closer to $80 trillion than the official number of $31 trillion. Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is trying to use the debt ceiling showdown to pressure Democrats into cutting back on spending. We’ll see who blinks.
We also discuss the situation at the southern border as Title 42 restrictions on admitting migrants expire. The real story here is the human trafficking, especially of children, that’s been facilitated by the Biden administration.
A whistleblower named Tara Lee Rodas told a House subcommittee two weeks ago that the government is delivering migrant children to traffickers. According to The New York Times, the Department of Health and Human Services has lost track of some 85,000 children brought into the country and delivered to “sponsors” since Joe Biden took office in 2021. That’s about a quarter of the total number of unaccompanied minors who have entered the country over the last two years.

We also discuss the ancient kingdom of Assyria and its connection to Babylon, a name that was used for many cities in ancient Mesopotamia—including the Assyrian capital, Nineveh.
