Hey there, East Central Florida seafarers and beach bums! Get ready to ride the waves as we dive into your coastal waters forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Melbourne, Florida. I'm here to be your weather buddy and guide you through the upcoming tides and winds, so grab your sunscreen and shades, and let's get started!

Heading out into the waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet? Well, you might want to hold onto your hats because an elongated high-pressure ridge to the east is weakening, making way for a cold front approaching. This means poor to hazardous boating conditions through Wednesday, especially near inlets. Keep an eye out as a large, long period swell rolls in, maintaining those choppy conditions. And guess what? Another cold front is on the horizon for Thursday, so brace yourself for more rocking and rolling out there.

Hey, all you small craft enthusiasts near the Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line! For today, expect Southeast winds at 15 knots with seas reaching 5 to 7 feet, occasional seas up to 9 feet. A moderate chop on the intracoastal waters is likely. Tonight, winds will drop to 10-15 knots with similar wave heights, so hold onto your fishing rods! By Wednesday, winds calm down to 5-10 knots, but those waves will stick around. Keep an eye out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Oh, and don't forget your raincoat!

And for our friends cruising from Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet, it's a similar story! Small craft advisory in effect through Wednesday morning. From Southeast winds to potential thunderstorms, it's all happening out there on the water. So hold on tight and stay safe!

Well, East Central Florida, whether you're near Flagler Beach or Jupiter Inlet, make sure to stay weather-aware and prepared for the changing conditions.
