Stuart's journey to becoming a novelist is nothing short of inspiring. After spending nearly a decade as a journalist and even serving as a local newspaper editor, he decided to follow his lifelong dream of crafting captivating stories. And guess what? He was absolutely right—making up his own tales turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable adventure.

As an English graduate from the University of Manchester, Stuart's life has been filled with diverse experiences. He's worn many hats, including working as a holiday rep, a door-to-door salesman, a train cleaner, a kitchen porter, and even a mobile phone network engineer. But today, he's best known for his fantastic novels that transport readers into intriguing worlds.

Stuart currently resides in a charming village in the North West of England, where he shares his home with his loving wife, adorable daughter, and a mischievous cat (who you might catch a glimpse of in the picture below). This feline friend has a knack for diverting Stuart's attention from writing by, well, breaking things!

Aside from his passion for writing and storytelling, Stuart is an avid book enthusiast and considers himself a bit of a film buff. Don't be surprised if he confesses a soft spot for cheesy rom-coms! 🍿📺
His list of likes goes on, featuring TV boxsets, gadgets, a good game of squash, and those large, comforting cups of tea and coffee. And let's not forget his appreciation for posh burgers and pizza—because who can resist those culinary delights?
