The Happy Face Killer took the lives of eight women across various states including California, Florida, Nebraska, Wyoming, Washington, and Oregon.
Dennis Quaid, a renowned actor, has been chosen to portray Keith Hunter Jesperson, famously known as the "Happy Face Killer," in an upcoming series on Paramount Plus. The streaming service recently revealed Quaid's pivotal role in the true crime drama titled "Happy Face." This announcement comes after the company's previous declaration in January, where Annaleigh Ashford was cast as Melissa Moore, one of Jesperson's three children.
The latest series draws inspiration from Moore's personal encounters, her renowned "Happy Face" podcast in collaboration with iHeart, and her memoir published in 2009, titled "Shattered Silence:
“After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to force himself back into his daughter’s life,” Paramount Plus said of the upcoming true crime drama. “In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed. Throughout, she discovers the impact her father had on his victims’ families and must face a reckoning of her own identity.”
