Nicole Thomas joins the podcast to discuss how the loss of her mother when she was 3 years old impacted her father, his alcoholism, and his sobriety, as well as to discuss the loss of her father. Specifically, she addresses the traumas of her father's death that impacted her generation and her own relationships.
Nicole Thomas is the Director of Public Guardianship in Douglas County. She has a Master of Science in Professional Counseling, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Nicole has worked primarily in the behavioral health field since 1999. As a mother of two insanely intelligent and kind humans, she and her significant other, Jeremy, happily live in Minden, NV. Nicole prides herself on being a fierce friend and advocate.
