The 26-year-old became the first player in Tucson's history to lead the team in goals in back-to-back seasons, when he tallied a franchise-record 24 goals. Carcone's performances with the Roadrunners earned him his first call-up to the NHL, where he made his debut with the Coyotes on December 28, 2021. In all, the Ajax, Ontario native appeared in 21 games with Arizona this season.
