AEW Has All the Momentum After Double or Nothing

AEW has all of the momentum now after Double or Nothing, and whatever WrestleMania momentum WWE had is gone. The WWE faithful is getting very bitter and downright surly.

I think it comes from nervousness that AEW is swinging the pendulum with being first with the live tour announcement, the switchover and new hour on TBS, and a Double Or Nothing

Buy-In-NWA Women's Championship: Serena Deeb (c) vs. Riho-Great start. Riho never disappoints. Great selling. Serena Deeb with a brutal knee attack to a single crab to finish Riho.

Hangman Page vs. Brian Cage- Great match, great pop for Hangman throughout. Like the crowd picked up right where they left off pre-pandemic. Cage denies the henchman help and he loses to a buckshot.

AEW Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (c) vs. Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley-Wild thing is over big. Eddie is over big, and got chanted big time all through the match. Bucks bruise Moxley with the cold spray can and Kingston to his left leg. Loads of near falls. Crowd is electric. Superkick party to a Moxley no-sell was a cool moment. Bucks over power to retain.

Casino Battle Royale (Paul Wight on commentary) Top Contender Match:Lots of veterans embedded with a lot of young tag teams. Brian Pillman gets a good pop. Cage, Hardy, Jungle Boy and Private Party remain then the joker is revealed to be Lio Rush making his debut who was last seen winning the MLW middlweight title over Myron Reed then losing it in a rematch. Jungle Boy and Christian Cage final competitors. Jungle Boy wins.

Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo- Ogogo all on offense. Good storytelling of Ogogos boxing power. Ogogos inexperience gets the best of him. Crowd was subdued.

AEW TNT Championship: Miro (c) vs. Lance Archer (w/ Jake Roberts)- Miro wins by submission. Not a bad match.

AEW Women's World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Britt Baker (w/ Rebel [not Reba]) Britt is majorly over. Crowd woke up for this match. Shida extra aggressive over Baker. Baker comes back. Rebel's interference backfires. Baker uses the belt to a nearfall. Baker gets the submission. Baker is new champ.

Sting & Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page-Big pops for Sting and Darby. Darby ragdolled with Sting waiting for the hot tag. Sting's wrestling ability at 61 is impressive. Page tossing Darby to the crowd and then the facial expression. Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy-Nice work working in everyone. Cassidy got in his shtick. Crowd really excited to see Cassidy win. Omega cheats a lot to retain with a pin to Cassidy.
