Kathy Harvey is in her mid seventies and as enthusiastic about playing soccer as she was when she took it up at age 50. She now plays as part of an over-70 team in San Diego’s Prime of Life League and while the Covid Pandemic is interrupting tournaments Kathy is staying fit. She has recent taken up Pickle Ball to add to biking, kayaking, running, cycling and wind surfing when she’s not able to play soccer.  A cancer survivor, Kathy credits sport with empowering her at a time when she was battling cancer and going though a divorce.  She says it’s the camaraderie that appeals to her as well as being able to stay forever fit.
