Some people argue that you cannot prove there is a God. But just because something cannot be proven doesn't mean it is untrue. Consider how geometry consists of proofs that are based on other proofs. Of course, these proofs cannot stretch back endlessly. There must be a starting point—an unproven axiom. That starting point is the notion of the point. The system of proofs that we call geometry is based on the notion of the point; yet the notion of the point is unproven. Some things are simply self-evident. To deny them is to contradict ourselves and we talk nonsense.
