David Balat is a professional healthcare executive and former hospital CEO who specializes in finance and business development. His consulting firm specialized in turning around struggling health care organizations, rescuing troubled businesses and growing them into thriving, profitable organizations. David was born and raised in Houston, to parents who moved to the United States from the suburbs of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in Israel. On March 9, 2017, he announced his candidacy for the 2018 Republican nomination to represent Texas' Seventh Congressional District.
