This episode of Erasing AB-PA I speak with Heather Jan, a targeted parent who was alienated from her oldest daughter. Heather's story is a little different than most in that the alienator and narcissist in her situation was not the father of her children, but the step-mother was the driving force behind the alienation. Also, Heather's son rejected the alienation despite splitting custody time with both mom and dad.

Heather does not mind me using her name but asked me to remove the names of her children, their father and the step-mom when she referred to them. Although Heather made her best efforts to refer to these people as "our daughter" or "my ex" she would sometimes slip and use their real names. In order to protect their identity, we have chosen to edit out their names and replaced it with just a split second of silence. If you hear silence, please know that the name was mentioned and it was removed.

As with so many alienated parents that want to share their story, these conversations can run over an hour. We have chosen to break up our conversation with Heather into two parts. In this episode, part 1, Heather shares how her daughter was alienated from her yet her son rejected it, how it was actually the step-mother who was the narcissist and main alienator and how under the disguise of wanting to improve the daughter's life, she unknowingly allowed he daughter to become even more under the influence of the alienator and to eventually reject her. But Heather's story does have a reunification ending which will be revealed in part 2 schedule for release shortly.
