Mercy and justice work often have to do with building and rebuilding: lives, families, life situations, structures, marriages. That's why we do a lot of what we do - value life, food pantries, transitions, prison ministry, immigration counseling services, etc. - because we want to be a part of building a kingdom way in the world around us. Join us today for a rebuilding conversation from two points of view as we interview staff member Jeanine Winfrey, an immigration lawyer who leads the Immigration Counseling Services at our Community Center, and dedicated volunteer, VC member, attorney and Eric's motorcycle-trail-riding-friend, Eric Rosenberg.

Eric Rosenberg has attended Vineyard Columbus since 2001. He is an attorney who enjoys volunteering inside and outside the church and spending time with his twin daughters who are sophomores at OSU.

Jeanine Winfrey holds a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She began her legal career in 1999 at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in Washington DC, and then spent 14 years with the US Air force, first as an assistant staff judge advocate, and later as a military spouse and stay-at-home parent. Jeanine is currently the Director of Immigration Counseling Services at Vineyard Community Center, a faith-based non-profit that provides low cost and pro-bono legal services to immigrant community in central Ohio. Jeanine immigrated to the US at the age of 7 as a political refugee from Vietnam and is a part of the Vietnamese Bible Study Fellowship at Vineyard Columbus.
