I attended the same after school day care center as Elizabeth (by the way, her name was pronounced Bar-CLAY not BAR-klee as you did throughout your podcast.) Elizabeth was about to turn 8 and I had just turned 9 when she was abducted. She was abducted just a few blocks from where I lived off of Northwest Highway and Midway Rd. Although I didn't know her that well, we both played together occasionally at the day care center. Her abduction was a real wake up moment for me - I learned the world could be a dangerous place. I have never forgotten her!!
