Anita Henri, Regional Director for Florida for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and Walette Stanford, Chair of UNCF's Jacksonville Council called in to Community View Point to invite the community to UNCF 's 13th Annual Leaders’ Luncheon in downtown Jacksonville on Thursday, December 6. The Luncheon is in celebration of UNCF’s 75th Anniversary. The keynote speaker for the luncheon is Civil Rights icon and Emmy and Peabody award winning journalist Charlayne Hunter- Gault. President of UNCF, Dr. Michael Lomax, will be in attendance. As will the President of Edward Waters College, Dr. A. Zachary Faison and our Champion of Education is former NFL star and philanthropist, Drayton Florence. A mind is a terrible thing to waste BUT A GREAT thing to INVEST in!!!
