Fine artists, Antonio Pelayo and his son, Isaac Pelayo join Aalia to discuss their journey as world-known creatives using their art to support the LatinX communities and bring awareness to social issues. Every father and son could learn a lot from them and how they support each other. Hear them talk about a desire to not just to draw or paint pretty pictures, but to inspire compassion and tell a story that goes deeper than the paper, canvas, or wall it graces. Together, they discuss the need to unify the Black and Brown communities as allies against racism, while acknowledging that racism against people of color isn't exclusive to the white demographic.
