One of the best things we can do for our children to get them ready for adulthood is to teach them about money. Not just that they earn money and spend it, but what having a healthy relationship with money? What about the pros and cons of their choices? What about opportunity costs? Investing? Getting a pet? The list goes on and on. These are often overlooked areas but especially important topics to discuss. In this episode we will be talking about a program for teens that uses a video game to teach them about how money works, how they work with money, how to make smart money choices and everything between getting a job to paying taxes, to investing to retiring. This course makes it fun to learn about money, they get to apply their knowledge to a real-life scenario and see the consequences right away
