Suicide is not the answer; Love is the answer, and love heals all. I had no reason to live. I hated myself. I remember the time in my life when I felt so much shame. Unworthiness. Powerlessness. Feeling Abandonment and betrayed by life and everyone in it. I did not think I could go on, and I wanted to commit suicide many times. I was always looking outside of myself for approval and hoping someone would come in and save me when everything was falling apart around me. Not realizing the savior was within.You can overcome anything; What you really want to do is kill the pain, not take your own life. The way to kill the pain is to FEEL the pain, Feel to heal, it a huge process for the body to feel all that pain, and by being in that deep, deep grief that is the way through. September is national suicide month, and it was on September 17th, 1993, when I had a change of heart and tried one last time to do something different instead of harming myself.
