Laurie discusses recovery from an eating disorder along with the roll of mental illness has in many addictions and disorders. She shares her experience of working in Manhattan during 9/11 and the subsequent refuge she found on her yoga mat. We explore how the practice of yoga can deepen our awareness of our emotional natures and how we heal from these unhealthy emotional and mental patterns. Laurie shares how too much yoga can uncover the shadow side of this beneficial practice.
