Rick Badois joins Jamie & Angela Lingerfelt to talk about living as sons of God in the context of the story of the Prodigal Son. Why do Christians live with (and only believe for) the provisions of orphans or servants? As a man thinks in his heart, so he is. As believers we can walk outside of sonship and this can be seen when we are jealous of what others have, or when we complain about what we do have. From the overflow of our hearts our mouths speak. If we see in our speech patterns of complaints and jealousy of others, it is very likely that we do not recognize that we are truly children of God. We have to learn who we are in Christ! With our loved ones we are most likely to speak the intimate things of our heart when we are alone with them. This is also true of our Father. We have to take time to sit with Him and hear from Him who He has called us to be. The real fruit of a Christian life is obedience to the Father.
