How to Figure Your Base Period
Your base period is the first four of the last five completed calendar quarters
before the start date of your claim. Your claim starts on Sunday of the week
you apply for benefits. Find the month you filed your claim in the white boxes.
The quarters in the blue boxes on the same line make up your base period. A
new quarter begins on the first Sunday in January, April, July and October.
