On this Tuesday episode, Joe begins talking about the water situation in Philly and thinks that Mayor Jim Kenney could have waited until after Joe’s show to announce the water is clean and not having any of the chemicals that they were worried about when a spill happened upstream in Bucks County, PA.

Joe did announce that since he’s on vacation next week, there will be an additional show on Monday 4/3. Time is TBA, as it will be his promised Turf Paradise handicapping show for the card on Wednesday 4/5.

Then somewhere along the way, we got into dirty water talk since we opened the pod with The Standell’s “Dirty Water”. A reference was given about Chan Ho Park’s walk up song, a running joke on No Filter, and Joe suggested what his walk up song really is, showing a old presser of Chan Ho Park talking without a filter about being ill, and a Japanese video of girls telling us about a gastrointestinal issue that they had.

Then we get to the Final Four. Crazy how Joe couldn’t pick a Final Four team yet again this year, but he did pick all four (how many?) Final Four teams on the women’s side. The matchups on both sides are interesting, though the women have a monster matchup on Friday night.

Then we talk about the new rule proposal that was approved allowing players to wear the number 0 on their jerseys. Joe thinks it’s too much like college and doesn’t like it in the NFL. Joe also calls out a commenter on Instagram who falsely claims it was college football that made the NFL relax the jersey number format that they had.

Finally, we get to baseball, and Joe gives his picks for the season. You will have to listen to the podcast or watch this video to see Joe’s picks. He’s not as high on the Phillies, but still sees a potential replay of the 2022 season.

As always, Joe is on Twitter @JoeQuills, and the show handle is @PhillyGuySpeaks. The Philly Guy Speaks is a member of the Bleacher Brothers Sports Network.
