A RENEWED MIND REQUIRES YOUR WILL POWER
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
(2 Corinthians 10:5-6 ESV)
A RENEWED MIND IS A NEW ATTITUDE & PERCEPTION
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. A RENEWED MIND IS EVIDENT IN CHARACTER, CONDUCT & CONVERSATION
and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. ‘After listening identify 2 areas of your life where you can ‘RENEW YOUR MIND & THINKING ABOUT IT’ on the way to your goal and dream. Write them down on a sheet of paper and then decide on 3 different ways or times you can, & by faith according to Gods word, RENEW YOUR MIND TO PURSUE YOUR GOOD. ***NOTE: The Easiest way for me is to IS TO BEGIN PRACTICE BOLDNESS!!! Based on what you have learned and been reminded of here…. ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GOD-GIVEN POWER TO THINK, CHOOSE, SPEAK, FEEL & ACT IN FAITH WITHIN YOU when it comes to consciously ’RENEW YOUR THINKING' each day so that He and His love can flow through you in an ‘easier’ way for and towards your greater good? Jot down the intention to ‘let it be so’ in your journal and then ask God for the strength, patience and love put it into conscious loving practice with acceptance. Amen.
