Laneigh Ramirez is a Black gender fluid artist based in Toronto with a current focus on oil painting and airbrushing. Her art is a breakthrough from her childhood in Sarnia, Ontario, a place far removed from Black culture. Her recent work gives credit to impactful relationships, spiritual experiences, and authentic Black expression as they guide her through healing memories of alienation. Generally, she aims to pay homage to people and ideas that deserve to be seen, including herself.
