George and Imogene Remus appeared to be a couple with everything. They had a big home and millions of dollars in the bank. George was an attorney who made his millions selling illegal liquor during Prohibition. He would eventually end up in prison for two years. While incarcerated, Imogene invited a former FBI agent into her bed. The new couple plotted to kill George. Before Imogene could divorce George, he killed her in Cincinnati's Eden Park.
