Since discovering tadpoles at the age of 6 years during a trip to Bear Mountain, he has continued to follow his dreams to "work with animals" and share his love for nature with others. In 2006 immediately after graduating Stony Brook University, he followed his dreams, and began Erik's Reptile Edventures !
