World Missions and Mission Minded Families
The last recorded personal directive of Christ  to his disciples before he ascended into heaven, was this:

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28: 18-20

This section of Scripture is known as the Great Commission and it is the foundation for Christian evangelism and cross-cultural missions work in and around the world.  In addition to acting out these instructions by Christ, we must teach this directive to our children and have Mission Minded Families.   Our next guest, Ann Dunagan and her husband do just that. They truly live out the Great Commission, and Ann is here today to tell us more about that and how we can be mission minded as well.

Ann and her husband Jon are parents of 7 children (born in 1986 to 2000, with 4 graduates and 3 married adults) who they’ve been homeschooling full-time, k-12 for about 23 years) and they are new grandparents.

As a missionary and speaker with Harvest Ministry (personally to 35 nations), Ann is co-founder of Loving Orphans (caring for 1000 children), author of several books including The Mission-Minded Child and The Mission-Minded Family (featured on Family Life Today and Revive Our Hearts) and co-authored with her husband, Jon Dunagan, a concise call to world missions,The Scarlet Cord: Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. Ann is the director of Daring Daughters and excited to be hosting her first Daring Daughters missions conference for mothers and teenage girls in February, 2014, at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida. With a passion for the Lord and the lost, Ann motivates women and families for world missions.
