We need a Category 5 “Hurricane” to blow away the current income tax system and make room for the FAIRtax. Although that sounds rather dramatic, The FAIRtax Guys justify their wish by researching the website OpenSecrets.org which has a great deal of information on the dollars that whirl around Washington by the lobbying firms in order to influence members of Congress. They also look at a few positively stupid tax proposals.
