Recently, Senator John Thune (R-SD) came out in favor of what he called "a pro-growth, pro-opportunity, and pro-taxpayer tax code". To hear what he said, you'd think he was advocating for the FAIRtax. Unfortunately, he wasn't but the FAIRtax addresses everything the Senator said was wrong with the current tax code.
