The Bible is filled with passages addressing the issues of justice and revenge. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'.” This passage can be somewhat confusing as vengeance can be defined as retribution revenge and/or justice. But God cannot be a God of getting even for that contradicts His very nature.
