On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Christian from The Amatory Murder. Pipeman begins by speaking about the #MakeChesterProud event which The Amatory Murder played at, something which Pipeman is very proud of. They touch on the importance of mental health and checking in on your friends because you never know who is struggling. On a more positive note, Christian describes the band’s sound as alternative rock, likening it to Muse, Nine Inch Nails and Pink Floyd and shares some of their upcoming dates for the following couple of months. Pipeman then asks about Christian’s aha moment, which he puts down to the death of his father and playing with one of his idols bringing him back to happiness after that traumatic event. Finally, Pipeman and Christian talk about live music and how they believe it is the reason there is so much anger in the world right now. Christian recalls a U2 concert he went to shortly after 9/11 and still holds it as one of the most beautiful experiences he’s ever had, with everyone coming together and celebrating. You can find out more about The Amatory Death via their website www.amatorymurder.com and their Instagram @theamatorymurder, and you can also check out their Bandcamp store which is theamatorymurder.bandcamp.com
