On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Quiet Riot, live from Rocklahoma.

Pipeman says he the first time he saw Quiet Riot was in San Bernadino all the way back in 1983, as the guys reminisce about that festival which included some great stories about Van Halen.

Still doing it after all this time, the guys describe it as a lifestyle when asked what it’s like doing this for so long. You have to commit to it as it’s their full time job, they don’t do anything else, so they embrace it and live it, and it will continue long after they’re gone.

They also touch on how everyone in the band has their own legacy, with the youngest members legacy having joined the band 20+ years ago now having joined in 2000. He speaks about the ups and downs, but it’s been amazing. They’ve been coming to Rocklahoma for 15 years now.

The guys talk about how much metal festivals have grown over the years and how you wouldn’t get crowds of 50,000-100,000 until Rocklahoma came along and now all of them have grown so much. The guys express their excitement at playing Rocklahoma once again.
