On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman is speaking to Wilkie from Malevolence live from Download Festival in the UK.

Malevolence actually played the pilot show last year, which was only 10,000 people, a fraction of what is here this year, but he said stepping back on stage was so intense it brought tears to his eyes after all that time

This year at Download, Wilkie thinks they may have played their biggest show they’ve ever played, although it’s always hard to tell while just looking at a crowd. Wilkie talks about the moshpits and the energy of the crowd while they were performing

Pipeman talks about how awesome it is that Malevolence is combining two genres that when Pipeman was younger, you’d be beat for being a fan of both. Wilkie talks about how everyone is welcome, no matter what you’re into.

Wilkie goes into some detail about what it was like to sign for legendary record label Nuclear Blast, and says they were actually connected for years before they signed.
